So did I but I still believe we should be able to get tax credits for sending our kids to private schools.
I know some home school moms and their kids test head and shoulders over those who go to any
public schools. Sometimes these teacher moms swap out with each other in order to prevent
any partiality.

I voted yes.
most parents who send their kids to private schools are the kind who kick butt if they don't study.
the schools in my county are just baby-sitting services.  the teachers are too busy dealing with unruly kids to teach
we have a lot of really dedicated  teachers here, but it's not politically correct to remove bad kids from class, so the teachers don't have a chance.

I must assume the armed teachers are both qualified and trained. I would also further assume they would be carrying in a safe manner. Finally I would not expect the teacher to act as a combatant, I would expect them to do their best in the situation they are presented with.

If the above is the situation I would have no problem with armed teachers.

Why are there armed police at college basketball & football games but not at classrooms? Are the athletes more important than other students? I don't have kids in school but if I did I would not have a problem protecting them with armed guards.
