Scope For 357 Max. ?
« on: January 07, 2013, 05:49:32 PM »
I an going to scope for a T/C 357 Max. I have a Bushnell red dot on it now and have taken a couple of deer with it, but all with in 50 Yds. I want to get ready for ground hog hunting this summer. I have been thinking about a Bushnell Elite Handgun 2-6X32. What are your thoughts on this scope. Will it hold up to the recoil of the 357 max. with a 12' barrel.

Properly mounted the Bushnell will be fine on the Max. Its not a heavy recoiler.

I use a 1x Burris on my Max because I don't consider it to be a long range shooter.  I have several Bushnel and Burris scopes.  I like them all and have had no problems with any of them.  What I like most about the Bushnel is the constant FOV at any power.  But I like about the Burris is the larger FOV that it offers.  Both are great choices IMO.
