New .357 question

Will take possession of a new one as soon as Colorado catches us with background checks. I want iron sights on it, anyone have part numbers or suggestions.

The only current/recent production 357 mag barrel with sights is the 18¾" Talo Trapper which is out of production now, all other current offerings are slick barrels, you'll have to get the barrel drilled and tapped for barrel sights, although they do come with scope mounts and the rear two mounting holes will accept peep sights, see Peep and Firesights in the FAQs for that.

He prolly means catch "up" with background checks, they're backlogged due to the recent run on firearms sales.

Heard on the 'news' (FWIW) that COL after CT has gone from something like a 3hr wait to 6-7DAYS. If I was a conspiracy buff Id say they 'instituted' an unofficial waiting period.

I buy at least 1 gun per month and have never waited over a couple of hours but it is now about a week. I can drill and tap(access to a milling machine) but I just wondered if there was a set made for my Handi. It has the slick barrel and has the mount already for the scope. Anyway thanks for the answers, can't wait to get it. May want to go to the Max .357, wonder if that qualifies in Co for deer?
