Got me another 'Tender

 :D Just grabbed a used stainless 14" in .35 Rem.  I noticed it's got a cats head on the frame instead of a standing cat like my others. Is this anything special ? Thanks.

It's a standard, newer frame. Same as the standing cat frame, but TC changed over to the cats head in later production.

Thank you. I checked a chart and it looks like 1993 it was made ? Was this the first year for stainless ? Also the engraving is noticeably  deeper on one side. Is this common ? Sorry for all the questions.  :-[    It is in nice condition and it's not my first Contender but I'm no expert.  ;)

I believe that the post fire frames were the cat face (I have heard them called clown face)
The crouching cougar looks elegant.
