no drill ntap scope mounts for Mausers?
« on: December 26, 2012, 09:24:11 AM »
Hi, I am interested in the no drillntap scope mounts for Large Ring Mausers.
Reason being  if there are good reliable mounts available I could find out if it shot well enough to keep and get drilled and tapped .
I have seen some that use the rear sight but they require a special scope and I would rather use a convential scope as I have a bunch of those.
I have seen the ATI and curious as to whether anyone here has experience using either a scout scope setup or preferably a setup using a convential scope ?
Thanks
Craig

If you are shooting good groups with the 'less than precise' mil sights then you just know it can only get better with a scope. FWIW, I guess Id figure that my groups would be 1/2, at least, if not 1/3 of those with open mil sights.
