I also have the lee 440 gr mold coming.  Should be a fun but painful  weekend next week.  Anyone want to share some of their favorite 500 S&W handi loads with me.  I still have to find some GC but after that I will be up and going.

Yeah MO!! Great! All the big boys will be around in a little while to tell you why you should be going for all the pain possible, that black and blue are the colors of happiness. Crap. Pure and simple. Take a look at my post "another 4", which is a range report and some pics of my reloads I am working with. They may not work the same for you, but they do work. My 10 pointer last year pretty well put the "anemic load " theory to rest. My bullet went through both shoulders and 16" into the ground. You do not need and cannot use more power than that. You want what ? 24 " into the ground? My load chrony @ 1320 fps.
      Ps: With these loads and straight wheel weight metal, you won't need any gas checks big savings in both time and money.
