Chinese Chevrolet
« on: September 06, 2012, 03:56:06 AM »

My how things change.....growing up nothing was more American than apple pie and Chevrolet. This puts a little different angle on the "successful" auto bailout.  Take a few minutes to watch to watch the video and remember while watching.......we paid for it with our tax dollars. You might be as shocked as I am........won't be anymore GM products in my garage.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY A GM VEHICLE. WATCH THE VIDEO.       Why haven't we heard this on the nightly news ????               http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=Lvl5Gan69Wo

Me..I care about how this all started, who was involved, who still is involved, where the money went, who supplied the money, who's making all the money, what it costs me, and about 20 other things,,,which will help me decide what to do about it.

Should have fought harder for Ron Paul! That would have helped.

let's face it, none of us have done anything to help the situation. To busy drinking whoring, and laying on the couch. The first priority should be a good country and then hunting, shooting ect., and yes it is normal. Read your history books. Been going on for thousands of years.
The damn has burst all we can do is watch. The elite can now slaughter thousands or millions and nobody will even look to see what is wrong. They dont believe or want to believe. Rome didnot fall because the wine was bad, neither did every civilization on earth but because good men layed on their asses. Just like us.

The last line of defense between the citizen and the government is our US military, if/when the military turns against the citizens then it will be back up to us the citizens as it began.

All of the desert wars have had much less of a "protection of human rights and freedoms" flavor and have leaned more toward the corporate needs of oil companies. I have heard this from soilders that left with one perception and came back with the other.

The introduction of UN troops will turn the face of civil law and control . Young American boys will have that  influence to resist and will need a lot of guidance from the homeland civilian partiouts.
-
Books have already been written that predicted where we are today and those books stated the likelyhood of coorporatins owning the econemy and the military. Everything is in place no matter which party is in power. It may take a civil war to  throw off government with either party being elected. ear

My Chevy is made in Mexico with a lot of Chinese made parts. The one I had before came from Korea. My truck came from Alabama, with a lot of Chinese made electrical items.   :(

They are doing something right though. I just got back from a trip in a '12 GMC HD 4 door, 4x4 duramax powered Denali 3/4 ton truck. It was the most comfortable, smoothest riding truck I've ever been in and I've been in a lot of them. It's ride comfort is just as good as my wife's Lexus and it's excellent. In one 613 mile stretch of the trip in which about 300 miles was at 80+ mph on the interstate and the rest 65-70 mph it got 19.6 mpg. That's not a truck computer but figured by mileage and gallons. Amazing, at least to me. If I were in the market for a new pickup I would head straight to the GMC dealer.

My wife got a 2011 Aveo Sport Edition that has a ride not much better if at all than my old Suzuki Samurai and instead of using 6 liters per 100 km as advertised we need closer to 8 and neither one of us is an aggressive driver.

It's called a global economy folks. It's been going on for decades. My old 1974 F100 that's in the garage was built in Canada like a lot of the Ford trucks. GM is a global company now as are most of the auto makers. GM sells into most every country in the world. Don't knock them for bringing the money from around the world home to the USA.

I have no clue on how much comes back. I presume it gets spread out to stock holders and salaries for the upper Management.
