How to change Gov't
« on: September 08, 2012, 05:51:15 PM »
There are a lot of threads here about RP done wrong, and a few more deleted.....
Change in gov't starts at the local level, school board, city council, county commissioner, etc.
In minn here we only had 15 percent turnout at the primaries last month!
No wonder we get senators like al (SNL) franken, amy(my dad is a newspaper writer)klobuchar, or better yet for governor we get a WWF wrestler! In the last election the republican gov candidate lost because he had a dui 21 years ago, but the democrat that won can't drive because of the handfuls of anti-depressants he takes every day.

If the change in government is going to be representative of what my area serves up as school boards, city councils and county commissioners, this country is screwed.  But then I live in a very liberal labor union influenced area.  One good sign is that the Congressional district I live in elected a conservative the last time around and her apponent this time is a Dumycrat that so far has no money and questionable support.

Changes must definitely start local.

Since the lower posts have so much responsibility with not much pay, most refuse to fill them and thus we end up with with our current situation.

Find someone you believe in then help them get there.

Ron Paul may never make president but you can point to evidence of his influence, if it's no more than to the supporters he woke up on this forum.
