Last time I had to fly I was 'requested' to go through the full body scanner.
Then I got felt-up anyway.
My wife had her hands swabbed for traces of explosive.
(Believe me, when she flies off the handle she doesn't need any explosives!)
There was an army of TSA agents there.

And the point of this is what?? Tsa hassles and disrespects ALL Americans, rp should be no different. At least they didn't check anybodys depends or strip search them. Tsa needs to go away, but til they do they will remain a PITA for all Americans. POWDERMAN.

The TSA needs to go away completely. Have they even caught a potential terrorist yet? I think their sole purpose is to piss people off. As Archie Bunker said "You want to fix the problem, give everyone a gun when they get on board"

  The TSA gestapo has been involved in too many power-mad incidents.  Frankly in my opinion, Obammy created the TSA as another top heavy union to support his parasitic type government with campaign funds.
   Each time we see any of these ridiculous incidents and hear the excuses/explanations by the TSA...I am usually struck by the ignorance displayed by Obama's hirees.  IMO...the TSA looks more like a 'goon squad' than a courteous, competent professional agency.  There was no need to make the TSA either a government agency nor a unionized gang whose individual screw-ups are hard to discharge.
  The TSA should be a contracted, private group...contract renewable annually.  That way they must perform and do it while comporting themselves courteously with the flying public...or the contract can go to another company..

Not so. They have now expanded their reach greatly and are setting up road blocks on hiways. Not so long ago Matt was returning home from B'ham area. He had borrowed my Tundra due to the status of the tires on his truck.

He was hassled big time by TSA. He had to call me as he wasn't sure where the insurance, tag receipt and proof of ownership were in it. He was finally allowed to leave by an Ohatchee police officer who was manning the station with TSA. From what he told me TSA was not happy the police officer showed some common sense and let him go. They were really unhappy they weren't given permission to do a full search of the truck.

If they haven't yet they will soon be coming to a town near you. This was quite out in the country really. Ohatchee was the nearest town and it is I guess the smallest town in our county and the stop was well outside of town on a state not federal highway.

Ron Paul should not have been bothered in the least..he is a much respected U.S. congressman..and the TSA could not have failed to recognize him, especially after they had already seen his ID and credentials!
  Pure harassment by Obama political appointees (IMO)..
   ...But this is the far-reaching kind of political octopus the Obamabot/Marxists appreciate.  The Obama administration can't find out WHO promoted the shipment of thousands of guns to the drug cartels..but they can have their political opposites investigated, harrassed on the highway and generally messed over ..as the have done to sheriff Joe.
       Bill.. did your Tundra have a Ron Paul sticker on it?  That could have been the reason..
