Unconfirmed, No more FinnClassics
« on: August 19, 2012, 02:14:55 AM »

From an email from Russ Gould Double Gun HQ

the 412/512 system gun, originally designed and manufactured by Valmet, then sold under the Tikka name, and finally dubbed the FinnClassic, has been discontinued. Small parts will be available but no more barrel sets, receivers or complete guns will be manufactured.  Note also, no more Valmet style choke tubes will be made.
A new version called the FinnClassic 612 is now in production, with an aluminum frame to reduce weight, but almost none of the parts are interchangeable. At present, this gun is offered only in shotgun guise. In the future it may be offered as a combo and double rifle, but the calibers have not been announced as of this writing.
