best way to get a 17 centerfire

Im not having much luck with search engines. any info on what people have already done to get a 17 centerfire?  also interested if anyone has used the green river 17 barrel blanks.  thanks

Lots of discussions on that subject, most common is rechamber a 17HMR barrel and fit to an SB2 rifle frame. You could also stub the barrel blank, see stubbing in the FAQs.

There are only a couple real option's , either Re-chamber a 17 m2 or hmr barrel , this is the easiest way ( cheapest too ) or you can have a barrel blank " Stubbed " into a donor barrel .
 
If one has the skills & machinery , a lug may be cut off another barrel and welded onto a blank , don't know if that one has been done much if any .
