maverick 88?
« on: July 22, 2012, 08:26:07 AM »
I'm selling my hi point 9mm. A coworker is buying it on Monday. I have a New England single shot 12 gauge. I'm looking for a pump for hunting because I'm hopefully approved to buy a house in Chillicothe Illinois. To hunt deer you must use slugs or single shot center fire or revolver. I'm wondering if 150 is a fair price fire a maverick 88 with a ribbed barrel. Its got two bead sights. I've never seen a shotgun with two beads before. Is that an add? Its used but not rough. 200 is my limit.

If it's in good shape $150 would be a somewhat fair price. I own a 12ga 20" barrel Maverick 88. It's no Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 but it will do what I want for home defense. My son bought a used Mossberg 500, a turkey choke, and a box of turkey shells for under $200 out the door at a local gun store.
