Well I have heard that this is THE Handi-Rifle site on the internet. That being the case, I thought you guys might get a kick out of my new toy. Please let me know what you think. Thank you all. Steve

Now there's something you don't see every day.

It is not at all my cup of tea but it is certainly in keeping with the traditions of Handi inventiveness and innovation.

The 700 gr cast GC rounds were of interest but CCC doesn't seem to offer components.
[spoof]The Handi-Rifle is a highly matrixed, vintage tactical shooting platform allowing operators high interchangeability, extended caliber diversity, and a wide choice of range related optical solutions suited to the demands of their tactical operating environments.  ;) [/spoof]

Very interesting.  I heard you mention the bullet weight 700+ gr & the energy (forget now what it was), but what velocity is it?
I wondered what it would do pushed at a leisurely 1000-1100fps (you know, subsonic) and/or a really big bullet (3rd post on this thread):

I get a kick at some of "Ranger Rick's" loads/bullets.  Anyone for 'detached retina's'?

The 700 grain loads are subsonic. 1050 fps. This is the reason you do not hear the sonic crack on these rounds.

I also don't think the stock barrel has the twist to stabilize a projectile any longer than the 700 grainers.
