Just a tillin...tillin...tillin
« on: March 20, 2012, 03:13:47 PM »
I don't remember a March up here with extended temps in the high 70's and low 80's.  But it has given me time to till under the winter wheat and till up my raised beds.  Next weekend I'll be adding some more raised beds and if the weather holds who knows what will get accomplished next.

Sounds like you're on my garden schedule now, Long.  I tilled the main garden, and the popcorn patch this morning.  I've had taters in the ground for almost a week now, and see carrots sprouting.  If your weather holds, you won't be very far off what I am doing.  Temps in the 80's today, but highs over the weekend are only supposed to be in the 60's.

Congrats!! chefjeff.

Let us know how that works for ya, I plow or double dig an area then run my rear tine tiller over it to make the seed bed, thinking on a pto tiller for the larger plots.
