I posted this on another gun related site and it got deleted so the bias isn't just in the media. I think we all know there has been a dearth of coverage of the Fast & Furious scandal from some media outlets but here is a detailed study of just how biased two major networks have been.
http://www.mrc.org/node/39032The short story is that while CBS has run 29 articles on F&F, ABC has run just one "brief" and NBC has never even mentioned it at all. It is very clear that to get any real information on this one has to search the Internet. And I don't mean just the so called "right wing radical blogs". In fact most of those just repeat articles originating from Sharyl Attkisson of CBS or FOX news interviews with Darrel Issa. Those blogs are not so far out as many would like to believe but actually just provide a convenient way to find facts which have been published or televised elsewhere. We can't subscribe to every newspaper in the country or spend 24 hours a day watching TV news but you can find it all with a quick Internet search for "ATF+Fast & Furious". I have set up a "google alert" which gives me an email notice every time F&F is mentioned by any media.
