ProHunter swivil hammer spur

Is there a special way to make the adjustments on the swivil hammer spur....I can't seem to get the screw to turn....Thanks

Only need to loosen the screw,rotate,tighten screw.
Maybe use a hair dryer to heat up the hammer to free the screw.
