So when I first ordered my Swiss powder I was advised by them that I wanted 2F for my 45/70. Of course just after ordering it I found out that I actually wanted the 3F. So while I was waiting for my order of 3F to arrive I went ahead and tried the 2F and had pleasing results. After the 3F arrived I tried them side by side and to be honest, the 2F looked like it was bettering the 3F. I have been to the range twice since with only 3F loads and now have my rifle dialed in. I am just wondering what the bad thing is about the 2F and why it jumps from 1-1/2F to 3F. The reason I am asking is now that I am dialed in for the 520 Saecos, I am wanting somewhere to start for some 480 Saecos that I have for my Chicken\Pig load and am needing to burn the 2F up. Might it be a waste of expensive bullets to try and start with the 2F?
Thanks PD
