Range Card and Stocks?
« on: January 17, 2004, 05:57:26 PM »
I made me up a nice little range card for my sight setting in AutoCAD. I laminated it with some packaging tape and am wondering what can be used to tape it to the stock without damaging it when removed. It is a pretty nice wood stock on my Spaghetti Sharps.

Thanks PD

PD

By "laminating" I assume you mean a permenant or semi-permenant attachment?

I think I'd make sure I had a good finish on the wood and simply tape the thing to it with some clear packing tape.  You can clean off the gunk with WD-40 or simialr when you want to remove it, and that shouldn't hurt the finish.  If it does, well, how are you on refinishing stocks?  Might be a winter project sometime.
