I went with my dad Saturday to shoot his Tikka T3 lite in 30-06. We tried 3 types of ammo, Federal Premium 165 gr, Remington 165's, and Hornandy 165's. All three types shot excellent, sub inch groups at 100 yards. The gun really stood up to the guaranteed accuracy out of the box. I was really impressed. The Tikka's truly are a great value!
On a side note, we did something that I've never seen done before. When we mounted the scope, I boresighted it just by pulling the bolt out and looking through the barrel. I figured it would be close enough to hit the paper. We never had to touch the scope when we got to the range. The Remington's, which he decided to use, were shooting dead center at 100 yds. After that, I went out and bought a lottery ticket, but I guess my luck was short lived
