H&R Model 58
« on: October 25, 2011, 07:13:36 PM »
If anyone is interested and can work on Handi's there is a H&R Model 58 action (receiver), with a saddle ring available on Gun Broker cheeeap!

Auction is over in about 15 minutes. BTW, receiver was taken apart and is sold disassembled.

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

It looks like a pin is missing.
Could I get an expert review of what shows ?

Looks like a mix of new and old parts to me, they show a modern transfer bar type hammer(high spur) and hammer spring and some type of old style pre-transfer bar hammer spring(double coil) as well and a lifter spring which is only used with transfer bars, no trigger extension, hard to tell what else is missing inside, IE barrel catch, t-bar.

ibgp3 - Send the seller a note on the "ask the seller a question".  Maybe you could use the above information as a bargaining point, to pay less. ;)
