The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first. - Thomas Jefferson

Thanks for posting that interview with Paul.I wish everyone, Republicans and Democrats would truly listen to the whole interview. I don't see how anyone could come away from it without learning something from this Patriot.

It's a durn shame he only has the internet to reach out with his message. Most voters "it appears" only watch the main stream media to get their so called information, and they are not about to let Paul have equal time. They know he is the Real Deal, and afraid his message might get through to enough voters to truly make a change...............................Great post!
the right/left yardstick is a French Revolution-born human measure. It reflects the political spectrum, which is determined by the people’s range of beliefs. Christians, however (and everyone, in fact), should make Truth their yardstick. This inerrant guide doesn’t compromise and build consensus, either; it’s not a politician. It dictates where reality lies. And in a civilization claiming 2+2=5, it’s with the “extremist” who insists it’s 4. For God’s realism so often is man’s radicalism.
