My Hornets are my best shooters in a Handi. I like the K-Hornet the best. It is a one hole'r. 26-t

I purchased my 22 Hornet last July.  Put a 4x Nikon scope and have it sighted to 75 yards.  It's an accurate little rifle

I just rented the 22k Hornet reamer and converted my 22 Hornet to 22K Hornet.  I'm shooting handloads to fireform the brass.  Even these rounds are accurate!  Thanks.

Had 3 Hornets and did way more cast bullet work than jacketed, but I could get consistent 3/8" groups off the back deck rail at 50yds with the coats and easily shoot golfballs at 100. The cast was not quite as good, but way cheaper (there are a lot of 40-45gr bullets in 1 pound of lead!).
But, the Hornets are all gone now and the .22Mag Handi is still here, and I had it at the same time as the H's. It does as well to 100yd.s, after that I just like to go to one of the bigger calibers, unless its just fun shootin' to see how far you can make something dance or clang.
Maybe I just got tired of reloading those tiny cases after about 4000 rounds......... :P .

Mine shoots pretty good with the 35gr Vmax and a case full of Lil'gun, I shot a 10 shot group once, most were under ½" but a couple "flyers" opened the group up to a little less than 1", it was raining that day, the target fell apart when I tried to remove it, wish I'da had my camera with me.  :-\ That was with the pallet wood stock, tried the Survivor stock just to see how I liked it, it shot Ok with my original load, but I didn't care for the stock, so I traded it off. Also tried the 40gr Vmax, didn't seem to like them.

Even my old M158 with the 1-16 twist shoots under an inch with full case of Lilgun and 35 grainers. They are just a real pain to reload those tiny bullets.Kurt

They do tend to pinch the fingers a bit when seating the bullets  :o  but imho it just makes ya slow down a bit, which may contribute to the accuracy of the guns.

mine shoots great with A-maxes and cast both over some 1680. I shoot the A-maxes (rarely, now that I have a store of cast) at up to about 175 yds. which is the farthest I can shoot conveniently at home and the cast at 50yds for the 'ellovit.  I've been wanting to try some of the other 4-5 powders I have with cast, but my measure's already loaded  with 1680 and it's hot and I'm lazy :P

Mine shoots all the jacketed stuff very well from 35 to 55 grains.  In particular the Hornady V-Max's are outstanding using Lil'Gun and H-110.  Cast on the other hand has been a dismal failure at accuracy no matter what I put together until I recently tried some AA-1680 I had bought for the 357 Maxi.  Now I'm putting the 50 grain RD casts into half inch groups at 100 yards with ease.  All those crows that were sitting out at 100-150 yqards and laughing are not laughing as hard as they use to.
