Well my son bought a 35 Whelen Handi with synthetic stock back a little before Christmas and we just got it together . We took the aluminum scope mount off and put on a Warne steel base with Weaver Tactical rings and a Burris 2X7 . Anybody shooting one of these .

I carry one quite frequently.  Have taken a few Moose with it.  A couple of Black Bears, but no Grizzlies yet.  Great out to 250 yards.  I changed and put a Thumbhole stock on mine.  Since it is only a 250 yard gun I put a Tasco 3X9 scope on it that I had laying around.  I really like the 250gr Nosler Partition.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
