savage 710 series K 30-06...heard of it?
« on: January 02, 2004, 06:09:35 PM »
I have recently acquired a savage model 710 series K 30-06 for $150. This rifle is in good shape and shoots well.  I haven't been able to find any literature on it, couldn;t even find it in the blue book.  Can anyone give me any info..value, year of manufacture or anything?  Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.
It's only dangerous if you are looking at the wrong end!  Happy shooting!!!

I suspect that you might be misreading the model number?  I can find nothing on Savage Model 710 or Savage/Stevens.  This might be a cross-referenced model made for Sears, Montgomery Ward, JC Penny, etc.  Check on Numrich Gun Parts Cross Reference Chart for the model.
