new old hickory 30# long bow

stoped at my moms house yesterday step dad came out of back room with a long bow just like my 25# ben pearson old hickory he told me he got this new in the 50s no marking like the 25# grip was bad just like my bow same grip wrap and rest so i took the wrap off and theres a 30 on the handle mine has a 25 so i guess its a 30# i put my string on it a hung it to see how it looks its bowed a lil bigger on the bottom limb but not twisted going to let it hang for a few days to see what happens the grain on the top limb looks deep almost like its starting to crack going to look at it closer in a few days and see what it looks like might just be deep hickory grain going to put a ferrets floppy rest and new leather grip like a did to the 25 if its cracked it will be the wall hanger ill get pics up later but now i got 4 bows very addicting to say the least havent picked up a gun for a while

well shes cracked for sure now i strung it up yesterday left it hang till about a half hour ago picked it up looked at the limb and see it was deep grain so i pulled it back a lil maybe 6 inches left her down pulled it back about 10 inches left her down pulled it abot 15 and snap in the middle 3 piece long bow now  oh well thought it might break to bad thats 3 arrows and a bow down plenty to go im sure having fun losing and breaking stuff
