R. B. in 41 mag
« on: December 03, 2011, 04:41:07 PM »
Just saw a NIB Raging Bull stainless for $400 today.  Had been buried in a store for a couple of years, had been brought out at the price it would have sold for then.  I'm not set up for the 41, so would have only that revolver in that caliber and would have to buy brass, bullets and dies for this one.  Not sure if I want to do this, but is a great price.  Convince me.  DP

Buy it!  Once you have all those supplies you'll have the perfect excuse to pick up a Marlin or two to go with it.

And I bet this will surprise you, you can make .41mag brass out of other brass, like 45colt.

What you do is take you 45colt brass, load it, take it out to the range/woods, where you throw it in your gun and shoot it.  Make sure you shoot something fragile for fun.

After you have your empty brass, you stop by your LGS on the way home, and while you are buying more .45 bullets and H110, you pick up some .41 brass and bullets.

See it's like magic.  And you get to shoot stuff while you're at it.
