not today did some running and got a hole punch
i need a new string for it no sense playing with it till i get it right
going to try to get the right arrows for it soon as fun money adds up

i was playing with the leather today trying to get it ready for the string
cut out 2 grips so i had a extra. i used a new boot lace think i like the way it looks. i think the floppy rest is going to work fine. i added 2 lil turkey feathers and a deer antler button with some hemp cord . waxed her up maybe the better half will like it and want to shoot it

made 2 string keepers 1 for the long bow the other for my bearcat recurve
need to make one more for the fiberglass camp bow. maybe tomorrow if its nice out ill shoot it. see how the 2117s shoot. i got to get back down to the screen room with the bearcat soon. that was very cool shooting at life size moving deer just like real hunting at 10 to 20 yards.
lil bit at a time its coming together pretty good so far . i was thinking i got this big piece of leather .
so why not try to make a back quiver. need to find the right shape light something to use as core of the quiver.
i seen quivers that are floppy and bent in the middle and just think i would like a rigid one with something inside to keep the noise down. maybe some kind of fur. picked up a strap belt at the dollar store for a $1
it will make a nice quiver strap. there were a few there think ill go up and buy them all. if nothing else i can use them for lacing things up. thier made of strong leather looking lace and lots of it. ladies strap belt i think.
its a quiver strap in my eyes. when i find it all ill give it a try.
