I wanted to put this up for you guys, I know there was some discussion about the cheap Russian Ammo awhile ago.
I bought a pile of .223 from Cheaper than dirt. 55gr FMJ Ulyanovsk (same as Wolf and Tulammo from what I can find)
I went to the range yesterday and was able to shoot off some sandbags at 100, 200 and 300 yards, with my Ultra Varmint using a BSA Sweet .223 scope. The trigger is still way heavier than I'm used to and doesn't hold a candle to my friends .17 with the accu-trigger, but I can fix that later. Here's the results.
100 Yards (bottom left is two holes)

200 yards

300 yards

I'm not sure to blame, myself, the ammo, or the scope for the 300 yard shot. Not only did I not hit the diamond, I didn't hit the target or the backing mat (the thing is huge). I'm not the greatest shooter but I should have at least hit the mat, so I have to test the scope turrets a little better and see if they are actually the right number of clicks for each distance.
In all I'm glad I bought a few hundred rounds of Tulammo for just over $3 a box. It should be more than adequate for dispatching groundhogs, foxes, or any other critters that get into the barn. I would even take a shot at a coyote under 200 yards with it, but I need to work more with the scope and the gun (still very new) before I can attempt anything farther.
