I just saw a .308 Handi with birch stock and scope base on sale for $199

Ramsey Outdoors in Ramsey,NJ 201-327-8141

I already have one, or it would be mine!

No law against owning more than one. Never let comman sense or rational thinking interfere with the purchase of a new Handi!!

set one up  with a red dot...for poor lighting   or very close work
the other with a  traditional scope

that would be cheaper than have quick change  bases

i bet you end up  using the red dot  more
