Lube Effects?
« on: January 18, 2004, 05:59:55 AM »
So how much does lube play in the accuracy game? The reason I am asking is my 530 Saeco's end up with a  lube groove exposed. I have been leaving the lube in it and am wondering of this may either be helping or hurting the accuracy, or nither? The lube is SPG and the lube being exposed and becvoming contaminated is not much of a concern as this is for range use only.

Thanks PD

As long as your lube is doing it's job on the fouling don't worry.  If you get a good lube star and your fouling is soft it shouldn't affect your accuracy at all.  It's when lube fails that accuracy is affected.
