Yep just did a spike in last week about 50yds through the front of the chest destroyed the opposite front leg complete pass through.My son got an 8 point with the same round 85yds through chest bullet stopped on the hide these were quarting to us.Very accurate

I use this bullet in my 12" SS Encore. I load it with WC820 powder, I think it was 22.0 grains but I have to check my log book. This is what I use for brush hunting deer. I dont use a scope and can still ring the steel rams with open adj. sights.
