Actually in Canada, it's considered a handgun and has to follow all the associated rules. Here a handgun can have any length you want over 106mm (about 4.20 inches). So if I was so inclined I could chop or shorten the barrel from 15".
Handguns are considered restricted and can only be shot on an approved range legally. Additionally, there is no handgun hunting in Canukistan

So this is basically a really nice range toy over here.
Just to give you an idea how messy the laws can get up here, with the stock extended she's over 26" and therefore over the minimum legal length for a non-restricted (something that can be fired off range and hunted with). However, with the folder she's a restricted only. If she couldn't be fired while folded she'd be a non also.
Even better, once a firearm has been classified as a restricted it can not become a non-restricted ever again even if fitted with a fixed stock.
