its too late now. hesa soak'n in vinegar rat now

anaway, bout 2:30 this here buck decides to claw-up ona doe i been watch'n fer a few minutes.
they were out round 90-100 yards from my shoot'n house. i wasa watch'n thru the nocs cus i can't see no gud anamore. i been hearin does wine'n all the time since 1:00.
they got to dancing around and finaly stood still fer awhile.... long enuff for me to squeeze
offa shot wif tha 39...( ya know that "commie" handi )

well ta tell ya, that commie dida sho-nuff
flop job on that boy spike... yep !!! neck shot right where i put them hairs.

onla thang else i gotta say is..... you point that commie,,, and he will do a mighty fine job....yeah !!!

I sure hope you waited long enough for him to finish with his gal! Of course you might have gotten a two fer if you shot while they were still...ah...courtin', but you would have missed the end of the show.

That was a very nice and different hunt. You're right, the "Commies" shoot right there. They stand proud with the .45-70, .30-30 and .357. I love mine, and am extremely happy to have gotten it.

What ammo were you shooting?

That's what I kinda thought. My Commie Handi is the prettiest rifle I own. It almost looks laminated. The light and dark grain in the stock and forend match. She's a pleasure to shoot. Just now, it's snowing and blowing again....and again.....and again. I've got at least four rifles to fine tune, and can't do it. It's either snowing or blowing or both. I've had a bucket of .38, .357 and Maxi ammo sitting in the utility room for three week waiting for a day to finish off the new scope on the Maxi.....there it sits. Oh well, May will be here in a hundred days or so

hava ya ever shotta buck thats been do'n tha dance, ya gotta relieve all that tention an relax them muscles.
it do gud for the blood too. we process all our meats an we like it lika that.
when ya take that backstrap and put nice 1" hole thru it long ways and put one of my green onion and garlic
smoked sauages inside and wrap wif sumthem hawg bacons.
then takin wrap it allup it foil and putter on the green-egg @350 untill done inside.
then ya unwrap it and putter straight on the grate untill brown........
it'll make ya wanna go slap sumfin real gud !!!!!!......oh man yeah !!!! gud eats

Sorry about that j3 I guess being from central N.Y. I don't know the difference. I've only heard either one spoke to me a couple times and need an interpreter each time!

your vinegar soak? Last buck I shot needed something, he was in the juniper

Has J3 beat you out in the deer and hawg wars? I been in the swamp for over a month and just cam back to life after I ran out of vacation. We stacked 'em deep and skinned most every night. Only problem is my dang BAR just wouldn't let the Handis play...but hey there is always next year.

Gendoc --- when you were a bit younger, did the wife ever get down right stand offish and hold her nose after you spent a few weeks at a camp not shaving and skinning hogs all the time??? I just don't understand women sometimes...

Good news with the '39 --- gonna get a CZ in one for the kids.

Man, I understand 'em cheating on you ---- my little sister has killed more than me this year, but heck she gets to go every afternoon after school! I call foul!!!!

I took three weeks and packed the truck, a full case of 30-06 and 22 mag and went into hibernation. We filled 5 freezers with hogs and deer(mostly does) and gave away 8 more hogs to needy families.
