TCR stocks

Hey Guys, Does anyone know if TCR 83 and TCR 87 stocks have the same dimensions?  Are they interchangeable; do all stocks fit all receivers?

I don't think 83 and 87 stocks will interchange. Iowa Don is the man to ask on TCR stocks.

I have one TCR-83 and several TCR-87's. The TCR-83 has more drop in the angle of the stock bolt than on the TCR-87's. However, that is the ony difference I see. I added a monte carlo cheek-piece to a TCR-83 stock and replicated it in fiberglass to fit on one of my TCR-87's. It fit very well where it mated up to the action but I had to change the angle of the passage for the stock bolt.

Also, I think the all the TCR-83 stocks had a lot of drop like they are set up for iron sights. The TCR-87 plain hunter stocks had less drop like they were intended for scope use, but the TCR-87 shotgun stocks have more drop. Also, I have a TCR-87 with a cheek-piece which I think was for a double set trigger TCR-87 and it has a lot of drop like it is for iron sights.
