I have a crazy Idea, what do you think

So I came across a rifle that i kinda like the looks of and it got me to thinking.  I'm not really sure what to to the forend of the stock, it basically had a regulare forend, but had a big gap between the forend and the barrel.  So I kinda had the bright idea that I wanted to carry this over to the synthetic forend on a handi.  Basically cut the top off of the forend back to the mounting lug, then find something to stiffen the end, and then fill it with a hard epoxy or something and make it look smooth.  

Something like this with the handi synthetic stock.

Just knock the forearm lug off and move it back to about an inch in front of the hinge.  Larry

how hard would that be, and  whats the best way to reattach it with out damaging barrel integrity.

Well... I like your idea.  If only you could find a decent adjustable tactical stock... wow!

Just found a Crosman with that type...

Attach it like I attach the forearm studs on the stub barrel I make, use a barrel band with the lug attached to it.  It would look like my Chipmunk Hunter pistol.  Larry
