Timney Trigger Fix
« on: February 18, 2010, 12:47:09 PM »
Hi All,

Timney just released the "trigger Fix" for the 870 shotgun.  I was thinking that it may work in the rem semi autos (I own a 750).  Does anyone know if the triggers in the semi auto remingtons are similar to the 870????

The patriot sear spring will reduce trigger pull down to about 3.5# . I bought a couple then started making my own  !

He did the trigger job on my 7600. Best money spent IMHO.

The 870 has a different trigger mechanism than the 7400/7600 or 750 rifle trigger. The Timney 870 trigger fix will not work for the rifle trigger.

Timney had a section on their website where you could leave suggestions for which replacement trigger you'd like to see them develop next. The link has apparently been disabled on the site, but you can still contact Timney here to make your voice heard:  http://www.timneytriggers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=5
