Well deer season here in N.Y. has come and gone,Didn't get a chance to take a deer with my handgun . I hardly seen any deer to shoot at,but don't really want to open that can of worms. I got a big doe and a big bodied spike with my bow, but gun season was tough. I never saw as much as a tail opening day,and I never left my stand. I did unfortunately shoot a button buck with my muzzleloader ,shot it when it took off running on my way to the stand. I don't have a problem with anyone shooting button bucks but I really don'y care to shoot them by choice. Well hope to take one next year with my 454 but man that seems like eternity right now.
