Zachary, I've been backsliding!

I have not been paying much attention to my Tikka lately. I have aquired a Beretta 391 and have taken to "THE CLAYS." I also have a 12 yr old nephew that got his first shotgun at Christmas and I have worked with him.  He is very instinctive in shooting. Great Eye/hand coordination.

BTW: He likes shooting the Tikka WT Hunter too.

Randy,

Don't feel too bad.  Actually, I've been neglecting my Tikkas too. :)

My reason is that fishing season is here.  Actually, when you live in Miami, where it's always warm, its always fishing season. :-D   In fact, I have just spent a hair under $1,000 on fishing stuff - mostly rods and reels.  Come to think of it, that could have been 2 new Tikkas!! :-D  :)  :-D  :)  :-D

Zachary, are the sails running down there?  We're reduced to grouper and amberjacks here right now.  I'm kicking around going over to Venice, LA in February for a little yellowfin action with some friends.  Of course I may just buy a new Tikka, to go along the Mathews LX that I got today, instead.  :-D

The sailfish are everywhere.  In fact, it's a joke.  There was a tournament in Jupiter, FL about 3 weeks ago and many boats caught at least 15 sails A DAY!!!

I'm not one for sailfishing...if I'm gonna fight a fish for half an hour (or more) I wanna eat it.  With sails, you have to (or at least should) release them.

That's why I love deer and hog hunting so much - makes for great eating!
