Kicking off the New Year Right!!!

If this is any indication of how 2011 is going to go, I'm all for it!  Not a big hog but it is going to be a good eater. 12 yard shot and it only went 20 yards got to love it!!!!! The Abowyer Brown Bear head on the Thumper shaft really blew a huge hole and did a number on this little pig, but the same hit would have had the same results on a 500 pounder. The best part is it slipped between the ribs on both sides so I didn't break a bone. Blood was everywhere and too easy to follow which was a good thing with it being dark.  Now all I have to do is get a fire going in the pit and start rotating...:)

Good shooting for sure, and a hard act to follow cuz we aint got no hogs up here to shoot.

Good Hunting!  Just read an article on the spread of hogs around the country, time to go visit some relatives in AL and FL!  Of course I've read lots of hog hunting stories in the mags too.
