 Shawn, they were made for me specifically. Bill Duke did it as a favor. They were never produced as a trap for Dukes regular inventory.
 Sales of the single spring 160 were extremely slow.The only reason everyone is interested in them now ,is because of high rat prices. My timing was not the best lol.
 I was working with Bill on the re-desighn of their stop loss trap when I first brought up the 160 idea.

Tom, Was the single spring 160 that much cheeper than the standard trap ?

 It was 12 to 14 dollars less than most got for regular 160s.

The reason I asked is that I'm trapping rats under ice with baited 110's. It works, but I think a bigger trap would do a little better.

 Shawn, I think a 160 is a better rat trap than a 110. Less avoidance and more coverage area.

Here on the coast in tide water meadows(marsh). The standard 110 works good. But the 5x5 is better. A 6x6 is just too big in most sets
