Question re: Savage 111 FCNS - Best Ammo???

I just bought a Savage 111 FCNS in 25-06!! A great gun but it's my first 25-06. I would like to know what brand of ammo and bullet grain weight others have had success with in this model?

 Thanks for your expertsie in advance. Plan to head to the range soon to sight - in and know that all guns are different when it comes to what ammo they like to "eat" best!!!  I will use this gun mostly for whitetail hunting.

I start my ammo searches with Federal ammo and have found that the Fusion and Premium almost always fill the bill.  I know of several rifles in different flavors that really like the Federal Premium with the 117 gr. Sierra Game Kings and/or the Hornady 117 gr. SSTs.
