Page Lewis Model B 22lr
« on: August 29, 2010, 03:07:29 PM »
I have a weakness for 22's and found a page lewis model B this weekend.  Only thing wrong with it is the rear tang sight has one of the corners chipped off.  Anyone know where I would even attempt to find this sight?  Would it be easier to get a gunsmith to add weld/solder a piece of spring steal back on and reshape it?

Thanks for any advice.  I've been searching for a stevens favorite in very good condition for a while and this gun is real close since they worked for stevens at some point.

Hmm, only thing I saw was parts for A, C, D, 50 and Target.  Maybe some of them have the same parts?

Go here,  http://www.greenesgunshop.com/Varner/guns.html  and look at the Varner/Stevens Rifle...

Then go here  http://www.greenesgunshop.com/Varner/sights.html  and look at their tang sights...

I have one of these rifles, and original Varner, and love it to death...
