I think the lifter/striker is the problem on my SB2 with the FTFs on the heavy recoil loads. It seems it is rotating towards the back of the receiver after firing a heavy round, then the first hammer strike puts it in the correct position and the second strike fires the round. I am going to leave it on the 223 and not work on it unless it starts acting up on the lighter recoiling rounds.
