Wayne, it really looks nice.  Looking at the lawn and the bench you've got it on, I'd almost swear it was out on my shooting bench.........I looked...... it wasn't :'( :'(.

Thanks everyone, it's grouping right around an inch at 100 yards with Remington 405gr jsp and I've got it sited in about 2" high at 100 yards. Should be good to go in my neck of N.Y. Longest shot I've ever taken on a deer was 160 yards in an open field. Can't wait to take it to deer camp!

I like it! 1" groups with a 405 grainer, how do you think you are ever going to kill a big bad deer with that???

The tenderloins ought to be fine out to at least 200 yards!

Good work and Happy hunting

Looks very good.

Until recently I did not appreciate the Manlicher style stock.

I started looking at old Mil Surplus rifles and that changed my mind.

So is the forearm attached at the regular place?

Did you consider a barrel band?

Best of luck.

Yes the forearm is attached in the same place and no I never really thought about a barrel band, I like the lines of the rifle as is.
