MOM and POP shops

Anybody got any good info on guns shops that may have some used H&R's looking for new homes. Would like to stop and have some look see's .Needs to be somewhat near interstate 39,90 from Illinois boarder to maybe Rapid City SD ? I leave thursday PM .Thanks Kurt

Ain't mom-n-pop, but if ya never been to a Cabelas store,,the one in Owatonna, MN is one of their bigger stores,,

 About 45 minutes north on I-35 from I-90 at Albert Lee, MN. Store is easy on/easy off the freeway too, can't miss it.
Count on an easy 2hrs in the store.
 You could ask the local boy's in-store of other shop's along your route, that community has a nice group of
 "Howdy, how are ya" kinda employees

Guys I leave from work in about 1hr plan on driving to Rochester,MN then nap in the truck and get up early enough to be standing at that Cabela's when they open in the morn it was already on the itenerary as I need to pick up a new alaskan guide cot anyway also another one in Mitchell SD just a few blocks off I90 and about an hour or so drive to where I am going to be bustin dogs. Thanks Pete sure hope to find sumptin as i got a little extra jingle last week working my dbl day and the holiday. Kurt

Rapid city    thats by me     but I don't have good  news  sb1 shotguns  are $100     --- and most handi are new ......but some one   on  this form said they got a deal in Rapid city mid winter. I think it was a 243..

  I would think this would be the time of year that deals are out there ----- not hunting season ---- there  are alot of pawn shops there  AND  check Mitchel SD too               DAN
