Just bought another Encore for my son. I had to, so I could use mine.......
The first thing I noticed was the recessed crown edges were sharp enough to slice meat. The gun shoots well 1- 1/4 @ 100 yds w/ factory ammo 308 Win 150gr SP. Some of the resident experts said that the crown should be snag free.
