My experience with 45 PRB is that it is a marginal bullet for deer and should be kept at 75 yds or less.  Bounced one off a deer at 125 with 70 gr of 3f Goex.  My 1:48 T/C Hawken like 50-60gr the best.  Wouldn't knock over a "hinged turkey head" at a shoot with 50gr at 75 yds.  Hammered them hard with 90gr and a maxi-ball!

Againn, my experience and $.02 worth...

Anywhere from 70-90grs of FF will be fine...See what she likes and hit them tight behind the shoulder and 2/3 of the way down and you'll be fine...

Thanks for the info. I was shooting 70 grains of fffg in it and somes guys said that was too hot. Worked very well on deer . Couldn't find any local fff so went with the ff. I am going to try 80 grains and see how it does.

OK, I shoot 50g fffg at the range, 25 & 50 yds target center, and 85g hunting load that's about an inch higher than the 50g load.  Old LH flinter, 7/8" barrel, many years, pillow tick patched .445 RB, wonderlube, ffffg prime.
Think as if you LIFE depends on it... IT does..!  Be Well...

In a .45 calibre, I use about 70-85 grains or so in a good solid deer load, paper punching is much less. By substituting ffg for your loads you'll probably notice that at distances beyond 60 yards or so you will see a drop in point of impact....well at least I did. You may also notice more fouling with the courser ffg powder in the smaller calibres causing frequent swiping of the bore...with a .32 it will be after most every shot (I no longer have powder horns that look alike).

I use fffg in .32 calibre up through my .50 calibre. In the .50  I'll use either fffg or ffg with out any problems.

I've only used ffg in my .54 and largers calibres and all my smooth bores.
