I don't have a factory t/c rifle barrel (Bullberry rifle barrel, t/c super 14). Get a scope w/ 20x on the top end and a variety of good ammo (no junk wolf or sk. Eley,RWS,etc...need only apply) and you will be amazed.

I have a T/C 10" .22 match pistol barrel and this barrel will hold its own with most .22 rifles at 50yrs. Also have a Bullberry 16 1/2" .22 match barrel for my Contender. This is also a tact driver. At 25 yds. with both barrels it hard to tell group sizes because they all go through the same ragged hole and sometimes 1 enlarged .22 cal hole. So 50 yrds. usually tells the story.
What .22 ammo your barrel likes also plays a big part in grouping.

I have a MGM 14inch Match Chamber and it shoots great. Target pictured was shot @ 25yds during barrel brake-in period, with Remington Bulk Pack 22's ;D

I have a factory TC 23" bull match bbl. It is my favorite, and most accurate 22 rimfire. I use it mostly with the cheap Am Eagle brick ammo, and it's deadly on tree squirrels. I haven't missed one on the first shot yet. At the range you can cover a 5 shot group with a quarter (that's with the cheap ammo). I have some match rimfire ammo around here somewhere, and I'm always threatening to try it in the bbl, but I always seem to take a different bbl to the range?

It easily outshoots my Remington, Marlin, and my daughter's Savage.

Get one.

Oh, and mine's on a pre-easy open frame.
