Help me decide

I am getting close to finishing my 375JDJ.  I need to decide on a scope.  Where I hunt in South Eastern Arkansas a long would be around 250 yards.  What would you guys choose?  I really don't want to spend over $400.00.

Check out one of the new Redfields. I just got one for my 22-250 Stevens and it's nice glass.
The prices are really good and it's got the Leupold warranty.

+1 for the new Redfields. I messed with one at the local candy store...clear, bright, reasonable price. The 3-9x40 I looked at had a BDC reticle and would go out the door for about $150.00.

Do not forget to take a look at the Muellers they have been a loyal site sponsor here for a couple of yrs now. I have 5 of them and have not had any issues with any of them. Thier line up of scopes covers the gamit of uses now .Including the thumpers. Kurt

Just in the finishing stages of fitting a 30-06 barrel to my frame and then will go with a Leupold 1-4x20mm and also have 2-7x33mm Redfield to try. These have a smaller ocular than most scopes, making hammer clearance easier.
