nice 22-250 at gun show
« on: February 28, 2010, 05:57:43 PM »
Was walking around at the gun show this weekend and saw a 22-250 sitting on a rack for sale. Had a scope and a funky looking "tactical" stock set. The forend was almost square and barely touched the barrel (similar to the tikka, or howa tactical rifles). It was most unusual and one like I hadn't seen before. I just couldn't afford the $400 price tag he had on it. Kinda wish I could have tho. Woulda been a nice one to add to my collection.

That's a factory fluted Ultra Varmint, the stock is made by Choate Machine and Tool, very popular.  ;)

I would think that 'worth it' kinda depends upon the scope mounted on it.

It was a variable power scope. Think it had remington or winchester written on it
